19 April 2007 - Happy Birthday Julez!

He didnt expect a thing!
14 of us for dinner at Rodizo Rico Argentinian Meat fest. Julez thought it was going to be a romantic dinner for two! NOT!

Can you believe it (funnily enough not many people have!) But I gave myself this shiner with a bottle of champagne! Even I couldnt dream up such a glamorous accident!
I knew purple was my colour!



After a fun night out with Rez, Dyl and Az celebrating my previous weeks birthday, the guys gave me a bottle of good ol' Piper Hiedsieck to commemorate the event. After a loverly dinner, we proceeded to (of course) go for a spot of dancing. As the premises denied entry of such 'glassy' substances, they offered to look after it for me until my departure. On G-A-Ys closure, i merrily (definate merriment after 2 bottles of Moet, 4 cocktails, 2 vodka redbulls and a shot of Sambuca!) retrieved the bottle, so lovely encased in a bottle gift bag. On leaving the premises, swinging this gift from side to side, I lost balance (somehow??????) and knocked myself in the cheekbone, just below left eye...Rez thought I had done an ankle (to her amusement) and Az thought my antics were capturable - therefore taking copious piccys to remember it by (as if this is something I wont be telling the Grandkiddies..) lucky Dyl was there to look after me and scooted across the road to buy a cold(ish - Ozzies in London will understand what I mean by this) can of Coke (full fat stuff) for me to lessen the blow in days to come. However I still have a great lump on my cheekbone..
This is the 3rd incident in the UK.
1. Vertigo in Belfast (happy new year bleeeeerchchch)
2. Rolling ankle leaving Redback (i think I got a fat lip there too - insignificant details really when you are at the Reddy...)
3. Champagne bottle in eye
Funnily enough, Rez had reason to laugh - she was there all 3 times...CHEERS GUYS!
